Bible Thumpers

Hey Mr. Bible Thumper
I know I'm going to hell
No need to shout it
Spraying a shot of saliva in my face
Hey Mr. Bible Thumper
Do you think Jesus would approve
Of you pushing me down
Just because of your assumptions
About my life?
Hey Mr. Bible Thumper
Do you think you're God
That you're the almighty
That you can judge if I'm good or evil
Right or wrong?
You shout with your signs raised high
Those signs with racial slurs
Prejudice remarks
If we're all God's children
What makes you think you're better than me?
Hey Mr. Bible Thumper
Just practice what you preach
What would Jesus do?

People who do this do not read their Bibles. They quote what their insane leader says about the Bible, but they do not read it.

I (kind of) liked your post. I am a Christian, Bible believer. I think those people in the picture are deluded. The Bible says that all humans are sinners and worthy of death. All sins are against God. I hate to see people doing this. It gives all Christians a bad name. Also, though, I would suggest you read the book of 1 John, chapters 1-5, in the Bible. It clearly teaches (as well as many other passages) that only the born-again believers in the salvation of God through Christ Jesus are given the power to become the children of God.

Galations 3:21 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. 22 But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. 23 Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ[h] that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

Sons of God

26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
